Rogin Subedi, MD, FSCAI

Dr. Rogin Subedi is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist committed to providing advanced, patient-centered care in heart and vascular disease care across the Gulf Coast. He holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Originally from Nepal, Dr. Subedi earned his medical degree from the Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Pokhara where he was recognized with the prestigious Best Outgoing Medical Student award for academic and clinical excellence. 

He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, where he served as Chief Resident and received numerous awards, including “Resident of the Year” and the GME “Resident/Fellow of the Year” for excellence in teamwork and leadership.

Dr. Subedi went on to complete his Cardiology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine’s Heart and Vascular Institute, where he was honored as Chief Fellow. He also completed a subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Tulane. Throughout his training, he received multiple accolades, including Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Teaching Award and was inducted into the prestigious AOA Honor Medical Society.

At Southern Mississippi Heart Center, Dr. Subedi combines his clinical expertise with a compassionate, personalized approach to care. He provides outpatient consultations and performs advanced interventional procedures at Singing River Health System hospitals (Gulfport, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula) and Memorial Hospital in Biloxi.

Dr. Subedi is fluent in English, Nepali, Hindi, and Urdu. Outside of medicine, he enjoys family life, music, and soccer.
