Southern Mississippi Heart Center (SMHC) is one of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s premier cardiology practices, providing the highest level of comprehensive cardiology and endovascular care to patients throughout the region. Established in 1995, SMHC has built a strong reputation for clinical excellence, advanced diagnostic services, and compassionate, patient-centered care.

The practice is comprised of seven experienced providers dedicated to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular and vascular disease. SMHC places a strong emphasis on early detection, patient education, and continuity of care to support long-term heart and vascular health.

For more than 20 years, SMHC has proudly served communities across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The practice now operates four clinic locations in Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, Biloxi, and Gulfport, Mississippi, improving access to high-quality cardiovascular care for patients in both urban and rural areas.

SMHC offers a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes advanced diagnostic imaging and specialized services such as nuclear cardiology, electrophysiology, preventive cardiology, Holter monitoring, interventional cardiology, and endovascular procedures.
